Occupational Health and Safety (O.H.S.) is an essential component in activities carried through in OLARRA; being conscious of that, we have developed an Occupational Health and Safety management system (O.H.S.M.S.), which consists of continuous improvement and preventive actions.
Fundaments of OLARRAS' O.H.S.M.S.
Fundaments of OLARRAS' O.H.S.M.S. are the following:
- Management assumes leading.
- Health and Safety are included in management line.
- Where Health and Safety exists, quality and respect to environment are ensured.
- Health and Safety involve saving.
- Every worker must collaborate with plans and must accomplish standards. Workers have also the right to receive all theory-practical information concerning to their concrete danger prevention and an efficient prevention against evaluated risks.
O.H.S. audits
To guarantee the Company accomplishes the O.H.S.M.S. standard, following audits are carried out:
- Annual O.H.S. internal audit schedule. (Every area in the company is audited).
- Legal audit (Spanish Law 31/1995 and R.D.39/97) every two years, carried out by TÜV Rheinland International.
- Annual ISO 45.001:2018 audit carried out by TÜV Rheinland International.
Coordination of preventive activities
In accordance with the 24th article of the O.H.S. law and the R.D.171/2004 concerning Companies' activities coordination, OLARRA disposes a Web to enable organizations that work or want to work in our installations, the interchange of information about O.H.S. standard established, as well as the checking of the documents.
